Why do I need to Replace my Radiator? Todays Radiators are made of aluminum and plastic. The expanding and contracting of the Coolant inside the Radiator will loosen the seals on the Radiator. Once they start to leak you can only fix it with a new Radiator. Some Radiators are easy to Replace and can be done by a DIYer. Some are more complicated and should be done an Auto Repair Shop. When Replacing the Radiator there are some parts to think about Replacing also. You should be Replacing your Radiator Cap, Thermostat, Upper and Lower Radiator Hoses also.
