How to tell if my A/C Compressor is going bad? The A/C Compressor is the heart of the A/C System on all Vehicles. When you press the A/C button on the dash you expect cold air to blow in the cabin. What happens if that does not happen? There may be some warning signs you did hear that told you the A/C Compressor was going bad. Did you notice a strange noise when you turned on the A/C?
